WHAT IS TRENCHLESS PIPE REPLACEMENT?
Trenchless pipe replacement is a method of replacing old pipe with new pipe of the same or larger inner diameter. TRENCHLESS tools do this by pulling a hardened steel splitting head through the old pipe. This form of pipe replacement requires large amounts of pulling power, which our tools provide. The new pipe is attached to the back of the splitting head and is pulled in as the old pipe is split and expanded. The new pipe follows the path of the old one and lies in its rubble.

HYDRAULIC PULLER ASSEMBLY
Trenchless tools are designed for use with polyethylene pipe. Polyethylene pipe is joined by fusion. The ends of the pipe are melted and then the melted ends are held together and allowed to cool. The result is seamless connection that provides the same strength as any other part of the pipe. Normal pipe couplings can be used for attachment to existing plumbing. High- density polyethylene pipe is used worldwide for pressure water and natural gas utilities. Heat fusion and the pipe itself have been proven in these applications. Other features of high-density polyethylene pipe are:
- Corrosion proof and virtually chemically inert
- Long service life in excess of 100 years
- Heat fused “zero leak rate” joint
- Smooth interior
- Zero root intrusion
- Earthquake and ground movement resistant
